Thursday Activities

Concordia Parade for Accessible Education for WOMEN and ALL in honour of Women’s Day
2:00pm @ Reggie’s Terrace – march to Parc Emilie-Gamelin (Berri-UQAM metro)

Teach-in at the School of Community and Public Affairs about effective and creative organizing. I wish I had written down all the details — can anyone else elaborate?
3:00pm @ SCPA basement (2149 Mackay Street)

Classes Without Classes – The philosophy students are self-organizing workshops and discussion groups related to the strike and philosophy. This seems to be ongoing, but I hope to have some times and locations so you can drop in if this kind of thing interests you.

I believe the SCPA event is specifically related to effective strike organizing, based on the previous experience of staff/faculty there. Super rad!

Another activity which could be a great way to keep learning throughout the strike would be to attend “Designing Sustainable Cities: A Case study on the Masdar City masterplan” – (an event held at McGill University’s New Residence Hall – Ballroom B, located at 3625 Parc Avenue).
